I admire Jack and Shana on many levels. As teachers, they authentically share their world of Japanese bondage. With emotion, self-deprecating humor, and the necessary seriousness, they share what moves them. In doing so, they draw from the vast experience of a couple who have lived together for many years and have mastered many ups and downs, both inside and outside the ropes, together.

As performers, they bring precisely this naturalness to the stage and share a wide range of emotions and dynamics with the audience. From funny and playful to sexy and wicked, they cover it all, mixed with their very own dose of charm.

As an event organizer, I really enjoy working with them because they are reliable and enthusiastic partners. Many a “barroom idea” has turned into a successful project in no time.

We’ve been students of Jack’s for over 10 years and have been part of Secret56 alongside him and Shana for a long time—so it’s all the more wonderful to see that Aijō has now created a dedicated space for his and Shana’s collaborative work.

We’ve not only attended many workshops but also seen some of their shows and participated in photo shoots. This mix of different aspects creates a complete picture: you don’t just learn technique, but also get a feel for aesthetics, dynamics, and emotions. Jack teaches clearly and in a structured way.

The atmosphere is relaxed, respectful, and at the same time very focused—you feel supported, no matter where you’re at. We’ve always had a lot of trust in them, and that continues with Aijō. We’re very excited to be part of this new chapter and can absolutely recommend it.
