Photographic accompaniment of a session in Nawaland
Aijō was asked by Nawaland if Jack would photographically accompany a session in their dojo. We naturally accepted immediately and jointly arranged a date to meet at Nawaland.
Everything was already optimally prepared on site: The tying area was carefully set up, and the background was also designed to create a calm, harmonious image effect without disturbing elements. An excellent basis for the subsequent shooting.
The goal of this evening was to work together on the topic of aesthetics and the effect of a tying session, and to handle this topic consciously.
Jack accompanied the session very discreetly, always careful not to disturb the flow and dynamics of the two. Different angles and heights were used to change the effect of the resulting images. The proven Nikon D3x with a Nikkor 24-70 lens was used. But the Nikon Zf also had its first use as a b/w camera.
The lighting setup consisted of two Dedolight spots, which emit a beautiful warm orange light. This gives the images a beautiful warmth.
Take a look at the pictures, and if you would also like to have your session accompanied, please get in touch with us.
