Kenkyūkai - One rope, one picture
The Aijō Kenkyūkai (研究会 - Studiengruppe) is a learning format in which we work together as a group on a given topic. Jack will guide us through the evening and contribute his experience, but the main focus will be on working things out for ourselves. The Aijō Kenkyūkai is a learning format in which we work together as a group on a given topic.
Our theme for this evening is `One rope, one picture`.
You will only be working with one rope this evening. The rigger will use it to create a bondage scene with
his model and then capture the result in a photo. There will be several
rounds, resulting in many pictures per pair at the end. You will then go through these pictures
together and select 1-2 that you would like to show the group. In the group,
we will then look at the pictures and discuss them. What do we really like about them,
why was something done in a certain way, what was the intention behind it?
The goal of this evening is to work together on the topic of aesthetics and the effect of bondage and to consciously address this topic.
Everyone participating in this Kenkyūkai should note that the discussion should be benevolent. We will not tolerate any disparagement of other bondage practices. Nor will there be a single definition of “beautiful.” Together, we want to promote individual perception and ensure that what is bound is also looked at closely. Everyone should continue to develop in this perception.
